Mr. T the Board Game

I pity the fool who won't "team up with Mr. T in an exciting race against time!" Apparently, this Milton-Bradley game from 1983 is somehow a real thing (hooray for the eighties!) and you can get it for $15 out of Elmhurst. It has a bit of "shelf wear," despite having clearly never been played. Wonder why...

'Backyardigans' Costumes

If your kid loves the Backyardigans cartoon, these costumes of Tyrone the moose and Uniqua the... uniqua (I'm just learning about this show now; I'm more of an "Adventure Time" and "My Little Pony" guy, really) should go over well. A Naperville seller is offering them for $150.

Gazelle-Horn Skinning Knife

Would it be ironic or just particularly appropriate if you used this wicked-looking flaying knife with a gazelle-horn hilt to skin another gazelle? The blade is Damascus-styled and according to the seller, only 250 of these bad boys were ever made. You can get one (or two) at $300 apiece out of Lombard.

Cool Antique Toboggan

Someone in Woodridge is selling this nifty antique toboggan for $75. It's a "working antique," and the seller claims it was "built much stronger than new ones." Can't really be used right now, but as the Starks say, winter is coming. Speaking of TV shows, why is "Mad Men" listed as a tag at the bottom of the post?

Machine-Gunning Guitarist Doesn't Practice

Are you a West Chicagoland band who could use a guitarist who plays "like shooting a man with a machine gun, or caressing a female's back?" Apparently, that's this poster's entire claim to rock-and-role fame. "I probably don't need to rehearse because I play by instinct and feel," he writes. Who could resist that pitch?

$250,000 Picnic Table?!

... no, of course nobody is actually trying to sell these hexagonal and octagonal custom wood picnic tables for a quarter of a million dollars. Our guess: the Glendale Heights seller meant "$250-$350," and didn't realize that Craigslist doesn't allow for ranges. But it's funny to think anyone might price the tables--nice tables, mind--at exactly "$250,350."
