High School Art Exhibit Runs Through Jan. 18 at Elmhurst College

The program is a little smaller this year but the talent is as big as ever.

There are six days left to head over the the Frick Center at Elmhurst College to check out the work of a wonderful collection of high school artists.

There were fewer entries this year, a sign of the times as area high schools have had to cut back their art programs. In addition to York, the high schools represented are Addison Trail, East and West Leyden, Lyons Township, Maine West, Morton East and West, Proviso West and Willowbrook.

Ribbons incidate judges' choice, and several of the artists have been awarded scholarships, as designated by the gold ribbons.
