Free Improv Comedy Show at Clarion Elmhurst

Art Spot also offers comedy workshops in Elmhurst on Thursdays.

Art Spot Conservatory, a group of instructors, entertainers and professional comedians, is holding a free comedy show for all ages at 7 p.m. and an 18-and-older show at 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at the Clarion Inn Hotel, 933 S. Riverside Drive, Elmhurst.

Tyler Davis, improv comedy director, and several Chicago comedians who have studied and performed at Second City, Improv Olympics and more will put on a one-of-a-kind improvised comedy show.

"Tyler is impeccably funny, both as a comedian but also as a workshop instructor," said Jason J, Artistic Director of the Art Spot Conservatory. "His ability to direct a group, even amidst a performance, is truly something fun and exciting to watch."

Tyler has five-plus years doing improv all over the East and Midwest. The Art Spot's one-night-only show will be a mix of short form, long form and even some audience participation improv comedy.

So, You Think You're Funny?

Art Spot will offer Improv 101 Comedy workshops in Elmhurst at 7 p.m. every Thursday beginning Oct. 17. Opportunities to sign up for the class will be available at the show Oct. 4. 

Submitted by: Art Spot Conservatory, a group of professional artists, entertainers and instructors who work with senior citizens and art/development programs for all ages, helping people answer the question, "What do you want to learn?" and endorsing creativity for all ages.
