Special Kids Carnival Day

Special needs children and adults, along with their families, are invited to attend the annual “Special Kids Carnival Day” at the Elmhurst Jaycees’ Carnival on Saturday, June 9th from 10:00am-12:00pm.  This event is presented by Special Kids Day, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing entertaining events to children with physical and developmental disabilities.  “Special Kids Carnival Day” is made possible by the support of the Elmhurst Jaycees and Elmhurst Camera Photo Boutique.

            A selection of appropriate rides will be open, free of charge, exclusively to special needs children and adults and their families.  In addition, “ride buddies” will be available to ride along with anyone needing assistance.  All participants must register at the Special Kids table located at the Carnival entrance.  Registration opens at 9:30am.

            Founded in 1990, Special Kids Day has touched the lives of hundreds of kids who have physical and developmental disabilities.  For directions, parking and more information on Special Kids Day, please visit www.specialkidsday.org.
