Piasecki, a former college writing instructor, is a veteran journalist and award winning writer. She is looking to help you preserve your mother's memories as well as your own. Join her memoir writing workshop, which is designed to provide you with the basic skills—plot, structure, imagery and more—to prepare your stories with flair, tone and witticism. Here's an opportunity to focus on particularly meaningful times of your life—first kiss, raising children, holiday preparations, favorite vacations, comical calamities or sad situations that marked your life—and write them down with flair.

She will teach you how to prepare an honest story that practically breathes with your personality. This is an opportunity to learn the process of putting together memories for the benefit of children, parents, grandparents and friends. It's a lasting, worthwhile gift.
