Celebrate the joy of giving and helping others at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at the Hope and Home for the Holidays Concert at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church. This benefit concert will feature a variety of local choirs, instrumental music and dance troupes, including McNulty Irish Step Dancers, School of Performing Arts, Glenbard North Goldtones, Good Shepherd Band, and the UIC Firettes. Several other soloists with styles ranging from soul to opera will also entertain.
Proceeds from the concert will support Community Housing Advocacy and Development (CHAD), Dreamz & Visionz, DuPage Homeownership Association, Loaves & Fishes Community Pantry, Naperville CARES, and Senior Home Sharing. Representatives from each organization will be on hand to distribute information about their services.
General admission tickets are $20 each and available through all the organizations, and at the door. They may also be ordered online.
