Make a difference in Elmhurst by joining the Friends of the Elmhurst Public Library!
This dedicated group enhances EPL’s resources and provides support for services that are beyond the Library’s budget. For example, the Friends hold an annual Poetry Contest for Elmhurst children and provide continuing support for the ELMHURST READS program, such as cosponsoring the 2012 author visit with mystery writer Sara Paretsky.
Elmhurst-based GreenMan Theatre Troupe presents Love Throughout the Ages for the Friends of the Library’s 2011 Annual Meeting. Are there seven ages of love? Love Throughout the Ages is a delightful mix of scenes, songs, and reflections on love told from different eras and offering different perspectives. At times humorous and other times touching, GreenMan’s readers theatre style presentation will amuse the audience while giving them much to ponder.
