Elmhurst Jaycees Emerald Princess Day

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! All young ladies are royally invited to the Elmhurst Jaycees Emerald Princess Day on Saturday, May 12. The Emerald Queen of Elmhurst and her Court will serve as fairy godmothers for young ladies ages 3+ that enchanted afternoon. Proceeds from Emerald Princess Day will be donated to Jaycee-supported charities in Elmhurst.

Young ladies should be dropped off in their most glittery garb at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 in the Large Meeting Room on the first floor of the Elmhurst Public Library, 125 S. Prospect (this meeting/program is not an Elmhurst Public Library activity). Carriages should return to pick up their princesses at 4 p.m.

Only the most charming of all events are planned, including a decorate-your-own-tiara craft project and a tea party where participants will learn proper princess etiquette tips. The $50 fee includes a t-shirt, tiara, tea party, goodies, and a photo with the Emerald Queen of Elmhurst.  All of the Emerald Princesses will be invited to wear their t-shirts and show off their newly-honed royal skills in the Elmhurst Memorial Day Parade on May 28 with the Elmhurst Jaycees, the Emerald Queen of Elmhurst, and her Court.
