Elmhurst Children's Theater Presents 'Pirates of Penzance'

Elmhurst Children’s Theater presents "The Pirates of Penzance Jr.," directed by Emily Dugan with music director Lisa Griffith, this popular musical is fun for the young as well as the young at heart.

Wacky, irreverent and entertaining, "The Pirates of Penzance Jr." spins a hilarious farce of sentimental pirates, bumbling policemen, dim-witted young lovers, dewy-eyed daughters and an eccentric major general, all morally bound to the often-ridiculous dictates of honor and duty.

Peppered with unforgettable melodies and tongue-twisting songs, The Pirates of Penzance is one of the most popular operettas ever written. All are invited to come in full costume and join us for our on-stage Halloween Costume Parade at intermission before the Saturday and Sunday matinee shows. Our Pirate King will lead the parade!
