Clowning Around for a Good Cause

Suzanne Waite of A Couple of Clowns in Elmhurst will be clowning around in Warrenville on Saturday, May 26, for a special cause. One her client’s, Melissa O’Day, of Warrenville, was the winner in the A Couple of Clowns Facebook Page contest in February for a free hour of entertainment.

Melissa decided to use her hour for a fund-raiser she and her friend, Theresa, are holding to raise money toward their participation in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day walk for a Cure. Melissa decided to participate in this year’s walk to honor the memory of her grandmother who passed away five years ago after a battle with breast cancer. Melissa's grandmother was always an inspirtation to her.

Melissa’s two young sons are an additional motivating factor. Along with helping others Melissa has also improved her own health along the way, losing 20 pounds. Her friend Theresa Visser is joining her in her effort to find a cure.
