Bike Rodeo

The Elmhurst Park District staff, community volunteers, York & Vallette Business Association and the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce will holding all the festivities where the Depot, the Prairie Path and Safety Town come together. This year there will be activities for the whole family. For children who are riding on two-wheelers there will be a skills course consisting of nine stations that will teach bike safety tactics and skills. Each member of the family will have the opportunity to register their bike with the Elmhurst Police Department. A representative from Active Transportation Alliance will be on hand to do helmet checks and quick checks on all the bikes. A local bike shop will also be on hand to do small tune ups on the bikes in need.
