Watch: Awesome Promos for Elmhurst College Relay for Life 2013
The 2013 Relay for Life has already raised more than $15,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Relay for Life of Elmhurst College is holding its annual 12-hour event from 6 p.m. Friday, May 3, through 6 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at 190 South Prospect Ave. According to the official Relay for Life page, more than $15,000 already has been raised for the American Cancer Society.
"Relay For Life is more than just a fund-raiser," reads a quote on Elmhurst Relay's Facebook page. "It’s a life-changing experience. At Relay, every person in the community has a chance to celebrate, remember and fight back.
"And every person who participates joins others around the globe as part of this worldwide movement to end cancer. No matter why you relay, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives."
