Three Elmhurst Veterans Receive an Honor Flight for Their Service

Elmhurst World War II veterans Dominick Ferrar, Bob Van Zandbergen and Bob Meske took the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., last week in honor of their service to the country.

The three veterans are members of Elmhurst American Legion Post THB 187. They, along with 97 other Chicago-area veterans, toured the memorials of the nation's capital before returning home April 27.
