Step Right Up: Jaycees Carnival Rolls Into Elmhurst

Games, rides, prizes, food and fun is the order of business for the weekend, beginning Thursday.

Elmhurst Jaycees Charity Carnival will give kids of all ages plenty to do this weekend.

The carnival opens for business at 6 p.m. Thursday. Hours are:

  • 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 9
  • noon to 10 p.m. Friday, June 10
  • 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, June 11
  • 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 12

Rides and games will be set up along Park Avenue, west of Prospect Avenue at the north end of the Elmhurst College campus. Mega-passes, which allow unlimited rides, will be available for $60 at the Elmhurst Jaycees booth at the carnival.

Proceeds will benefit Elmhurst District 205 Foundation, Elmhurst Children's Assistance Foundation, Ray Graham Association and other organizations.
