Why Go: Bryan Drama brings this classic musical to life.The beautiful Belle finds herself in the Beast's mansion, full of inanimate objects that have been brought to life. Little does she know she must fall in love with the Beast to break the evil spell cast upon him.

West Side Story

2. HEALTHY KIDS NIGHT

Why Go: Bring everyone for an evening of fitness, dancing, healthy eating demos raffles and fun.

3. SOLDIER, COME HOME
Where/When: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday at , 232 S. York St.
Why Go: To mark the observance of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, “,” a play by Frank W. Wicks based on family Civil War letters, opens April 14 produced at GreenMan Theatre in conjunction with Elmhurst Reads: The Civil War.

4. CARE WALK FOR CANINES
Where/When: 10 a.m. Saturday, Elmhurst College, 190 S. Prospect Ave.
Why Go: Walk your dog around a 1-mile course. Area pet supply vendors, rescue groups, and a canine police unit, among others, will be on hand to share information and goodies for pets and their people. Proceeds benefiting Help-A-Pet.
