EARLIER Friday:
About 2,600 customers are without power in Elmhurst, due to a "sub-transmission" line is down, according to the City of Elmhurst. This is a main feeder for Elmhurst power. ComEd is working to reconfigure the power now and hopes to have power restored to all affected by 1 p.m. today, according to the city.
