High School, College Students Invited to Audition for 'Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson'

DIY Theatre invites high school and returning college students are invited to bring their best "front man" acts to audition for DIY Theatre's production of edgy cult rocker.

DIY Summer Theatre, now in its sixth season, invites high school and returning college students to try out for the company's first-ever summer intensive program.

Actors will work closely together to stage the pop-rock musical, "Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson."

This edgy “cult” show is set in the Wild West and tells the story of America’s first maverick president--Andrew Jackson-- who kicked British butt, shafted the Indians, and smacked down the Spaniards, all for the sake of the populist vote. (Warning: This offbeat musical features adult themes, strong language—and a killer rock score.)
