Vacation Bible School

First United Methodist Church invites children age four to entering fifth grade to the Shake It Up Café: Where Kids Carry Out God’s Recipe, which will be held August 1-5, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until noon at First Church.  This is a cooperative venture with Christ United Methodist Church in Elmhurst.

The Bible gives us our recipe for life.  Shake it Up Cafe will open each day with a Bible story and children expand on what they’ve learned in a variety of activities: making art projects during Tangy & Tart Crafts, singing new music at Wok & Roll Hits, exploring science activities at the Foodology Factory, and participating in games at Spork Sports.

Early bird registration by Friday, July 15 is $20 per child; registration July 15-30 is $25; VBS Opening Day is $27. Registration forms are available online at www.umcelmhurst.org.  Scholarships may be available.
