Touch A Truck

ELMHURST, Ill. – Bring the whole family to Berens Park’s east parking lot (off Walnut Street) for a vroom-ing good time at the Park District’s annual Touch A Truck event.  On Saturday, September 8 from 10 a.m.-noon, everyone will have a chance to touch, climb through and explore a variety of trucks and vehicles.  Truck types include a fire truck, backhoe, dump truck, tow truck and more.  Weather-permitting, we will get a very special visit from a helicopter.  A $1 donation is requested to benefit the Park District’s Recreation Assistance Fund.  Make sure to bring your camera!  For more information, call Marilyn Connolly at (630) 993-8922.

The Elmhurst Park District is an Illinois Distinguished Agency dedicated to promoting “lifetime enjoyment” by providing a variety of parks, recreation facilities, and affordable programs in the Elmhurst community.  For more information on the Elmhurst Park District call (630) 993-8900 or visit www.epd.org.
