Community Health Fair

 

  Faith Evangelical United Methodist Church, 111 W. North Avenue, (corner of North Avenue and York Road), Elmhurst, will have a FREE Community Health Fair on Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants include the Loyola Pediatric Mobile Health Unit, Loyola University Medical Center, Elmhurst Hospital, DuPage County Health Department, Illinois Welcoming Center for immigrants, World Relief, American Cancer Society, CareNet Pregnancy Services, Elmhurst Fire Department and others. Services for children include school and sports physicals, free immunizations for low income families, lead and anemia screening, games, moon jump, live music. Services for adults include blood pressure and diabetes screenings. Dental screening is available for all ages. Information will be available on senior services, breast cancer screening, parenting classes, legal services (not legal advice) for immigration and citizenship, crisis services in the area, child care, car seat safety, and more. This event is for families in the community of Elmhurst as well as the surrounding area.   Spanish interpreters will be available. Please call the Church Office at 630-941-0212 for more information.
