Elmhurst Park District has determined the weather on Monday will be too severe to open its recreation buildings.
Wagner Community Center, all recreation buildings, and the Abbey will be closed due to extreme weather conditions. Park programs scheduled at Park District facilities and at Elmhurst District 205 school buildings are canceled.
Courts Plus Fitness Centre and Kids Plus Childcare will be open during regular hours but Kids Plus programs, all classes including tennis and group exercise are canceled.
The district's administrative office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached by calling (630) 993-8917.
