Community Bank of Elmhurst's 4 on the 4th Draws Hundreds of Runners

Runners ages 6 to 82 put their best foot forward for the seventh annual July 4 event.

More than 800 runners lined up for the seventh annual Community Bank of Elmhurst's 4 on the 4th race near Elmhurst's College main gates on Prospect Avenue Monday.

The top male winners of the 4-mile race were Mike Spain of Schaumburg, first place, at 19:31; Kyle Brady of Naperville, second place, 19:31; and Matthew Flaherty of Chicago, 19:49.

The top female runners were Elizabeth Boyle of Elmhurst, 22:26; Jean Marinangeli of Schaumburg, 22.28; and Columba Montes of Chicago, 22:53.
