Best of Craigslist: Giant Darth Maul Statue, Creepy Dining Set

Giant Darth Maul Statue

Who wouldn't want a life-sized statue of Ray Park's dark Sith Lord character reddening up their living room? Well, a lot of people, probably. But if you're not one of them, you can get this bad boy for $3,500 from an Elmhurst seller. And! It "comes with a heavy metal MR-Master Replica Light Up Double Blade Lightsaber with sound!" Because nobody wants a quiet life-size Darth Maul statue.

Creepy Dining Set

A dining set that involves jars with "possum livers," "frog brain" and life-like rats strikes me as a bit unappetizing, but these Goth-y dishes are up for sale from an Elmhurst seller for $150. They'd definitely work well for Halloween, but I wouldn't recommend them for when you have company over. Unless it's the Addams Family. Which would actually be a pretty cool dinner.

Spartan Sword and Helmet

This! Is! Craigslist! No, seriously, this is apparently a Frank Miller-licensed piece of 300 merchandise. So if you want to dress up like Leonidas and yell for a while, or just have a cool conversation piece for your movie room, or maybe go toe-to-toe with the massive Persian army, you can get it from this Wheaton seller for $350.

Really Massive Thomas the Tank Engine Set

How massive? Well, there's Thomas, Madge, James, Gold Dust Salty, Gold Mine Rickety, Iron Bert, Henry, Troublesome Trucks, Festive Caboose, George, Iron Arry, Edward, Percy, Diesel 10, Rosie, Gold Dust Thomas, Mavis, Cargo Cars, Water Tanker Car, Clarabel, Annie, Spencer, Emily and okay I'm done, but plenty more, too. Glen Ellyn seller estimates $1500 worth of merch for $350, and promises your kid will also get addicted. Is that really a selling point?

Indiana Jones Pinball Machine

$6,000 is pricey, but boy does this machine up for sale in Elmhurst look cool. I mean, look, you pull a gun trigger to put the ball in play! It's bright sparkly yellow and orange and other awesome Indy-esque colors! If you buy this, please let me know. I will totally be your best friend (though our relationship may be shallow and entirely based on pinball.)

157 VHS Movies

157 movies (mostly kid-friendly ones) for $200 isn't a bad deal from this Elmhurst seller. I just have absolutely no idea how you propose to actually watch them. (VHS; what's that?) Anyway, the movies are: 101 Dalmatians, 102 Dalmatians, 50 First Dates, A Christmas Story, A Walk to Remember, and no I'm not typing out all 157 of these, either.
