Grand Opening of Luxury Townhomes Adjacent to Elm Creek Apartments

At a June 20 ribbon-cutting ceremony, Elmhurst city officials, Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce leaders, and Apartment Investment and Management Company representatives unveiled two of five new luxury townhome buildings adjacent to Elm Creek Apartments.  The construction project adds 28 luxury rental homes to the market, providing an attractive alternative to traditional apartment living.

“We are pleased to offer residents all the benefits of single family-home living in an upscale, convenient rental environment,” said Kevin Mosher, area vice president for Aimco, owner and manager of the Elm Creek property.  “The Elm Creek Apartments and Townhomes are superiorly located near job centers, such as Elmhurst Memorial Medical Center, and close to exceptional retail opportunities at Oak Brook Center.  The support we’ve received from the citizens, business leaders and the City of Elmhurst has been outstanding, and we look forward to being a good neighbor and community partner for years to come.”

The new townhomes, on a 4-acre parcel adjacent to Elm Creek Apartments, feature two- and three-bedroom options, all with garages, private entrances, patios and balconies.  Amenities include a walking path along Salt Creek, a dog park, and new lighting and signage throughout the property.  Also available to residents is an outdoor swimming pool with retractable roof and a pool lounge area, business and fitness centers, and an outdoor tennis court.
