EMH Foundation Amazing Walk for Cancer set for Sept. 28

The Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Foundation is hosting the Amazing Walk for Cancer on Sunday, September 28 at 1 p.m.

The Walk, about 2.5 miles, will begin at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Rd., proceed to York Road, York Commons, loop back to York Road and return to the hospital campus.

The purpose of the Walk is to share hope, build awareness of all types of cancers and raise funds for Elmhurst Memorial’s Center for Cancer Care.

The registration fee prior to the event is $25.  Registration on the day of the Walk is $35.  The Walk is open to the community.  For more information and to register, visit www.amazingwalk.kintera.org.

The Elmhurst Memorial Center for Cancer Care, located on the campus of Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, brings medical oncologists, an infusion center, radiation oncology and the CyberKnife Center of Chicago together – all under one roof.  Patients are able to receive all of their care in one convenient, central location, close to home.
