On Friday, August 16 the Elmhurst YMCA delivered 160 Back 2 School kits to Fischer Elementary School and Churchville Middle School in Elmhurst. Elmhurst YMCA Executive Director, Angie Flesch, learned of the need of school supplies within our community from YMCA Board Member Cassie Quick, who is also Emerson Elementary’s PTA president. Through collaboration with the Illinois Currency Exchange Foundation and its partners, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago distributed 20,000 Back 2 School kits to students in need this year.
