Elmhurst Cycling Classic - a Spectator Event

Friday, July 19 will be the first annual Elmhurst Cycling Classic.  We have had a number of questions about who will be racing at the Cycling Classic.  Outside of the PNC Bank Family Fun Ride when those who have registered can ride their bikes on the race course, participants will need a license issued by USA Cycling.  As a spectator you will see racers licensed from Category 5 (entry level) through Category 1 and Professional.   At the Cat 1 and Pro level, you will be watching World-class cyclists racing for fame and fortune, up close right on the course!  More details are found here: http://www.elmhurstcyclingclassic.com/

Free  secure bike parking will be provided by the Elmhurst Bike Task Force and the Elmhurst Park District at the Park District tennis courts on Prospect Avenue closest to the library.

Food and beverage vendors will be located in both downtown Elmhurst, two blocks away, and on the Elmhurst College campus.

Come on out and share in the fun and excitement!
