DUPAGE COUNTY FAIR CELEBRATING 60TH IN STYLE

Planning is well under way for the 60th Anniversary DuPage County Fair taking place July 23rd- 27th, 2014. Connect with DuPage County’s agricultural heritage while sharing in the numerous FREE project, programming, and educational activities. With more than 100,000 attendees expected, there is something for everyone at the 2014 DuPage County Fair. (www.dupagecountyfair.org)

Kicking off the 60th Anniversary of the Fair is a multi-Chamber joint networking event with Chambers of Commerce from throughout DuPage County. To date, 8 Chambers have committed to participating in this county-wide joint networking event that concludes with the Flag Raising Ceremony starting the Fair.

Fair Marketing Committee Chairman Bill Britton shares, “We’re committed to filling our grandstand again this year and will be making some exciting announcements regarding programming in addition to our always popular Spirits of DuPage Beer/Wine Tasting on Friday 07/25 and two showings of the Demolition Derby on Sunday 07/27.”

The DuPage County Fair exists to connect people with their agricultural heritage. With entertainment ranging from livestock exhibitions to carnival rides, the Grandstand serves as the featured spot for such acts as the FREE Monster Truck show on Wednesday, 07/23, 2013 Voice performer Michael Lynch on Thursday 07/24, two shows with the Latting Rodeo on Saturday 07/26. There will also be two Demolition Derby performances on Sunday 07/27.
