On June 30 at about 6:30 p.m., Villa Park Police responded to the 1500 block South Ardmore for a battery that just occurred. The elderly female victim reported that while walking from her vehicle a man approached her from behind and placed his hand over her mouth. The victim screamed and the offender ran from the area.
DuPage County Sheriff’s Department received two similar reports involving the same described offender on the same day in the Brandywine subdivision, located near the 1600 block of South Ardmore.
The offender is described as black, about 18 to 22 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 150 pounds with short black hair, wearing a red shirt and dark colored pants.
