Elmhurst, Ill. – Access Sports is currently organizing an athletic equipment drive for their youth sports teams. Access Sports currently fields Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer, and Track Teams, but will be grateful for the donation of any equipment. If you have any unneeded equipment, please stop by and donate during one of the following times:
- Soccer Practice (the York Commons near Smalley Pool, Elmhurst) from 9:00 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday
- Flag Football Practice (the grassy area in front of York High School, 355 W. St. Charles, Elmhurst) from 3:45-4:30 p.m. Saturday
- Track Practice (the York High School Fieldhouse, 355 W. St. Charles, Elmhurst) from 4-5 p.m. Sunday
“We’ve been having a banner year so far,” says Dena Seidenfuss, the Access Sports executive director, “and have been able to introduce new Track and Flag Football teams. But with new teams, we are going to need more equipment for our young athletes.”
