Relay For Life of Elmhurst Hosting Team Rally BBQ March 12 at The Hub

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Elmhurst will hold a Team Rally BBQ on March 12 from 6-8 pm at The Hub at Berens Park.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Elmhurst will hold a Team Rally BBQ on March 12 from 6-8 pm at The Hub at Berens Park (West Gladys Avenue, Elmhurst). Friends, neighbors, cancer survivors, caregivers and anyone interested in learning more about Relay For Life are encouraged to attend.

The Team Rally BBQ offers information about the American Cancer Society’s mission of saving lives faster by helping people stay well, helping people get well, finding cures and fighting back. BBQ will be served, guests will have the opportunity to make campsite selections and learn more about the exciting activities planned for this year’s Relay For Life. There will be opportunities for prizes for whole teams present, for new registrations and more.

Relay For Life is an overnight event where teams of local businesses, schools, faith communities, community groups and families build awareness and raise funds - prior to and at the event - to fight cancer. While the main objective of Relay For Life is to raise money for cancer research and cancer patients, the event celebrates the lives of survivors, remembers those who lost their lives to cancer and unites communities to fight back against cancer.
