York Girls Swim and Dive Upend OPRF Oct. 6

York Girls swimming and diving competed against OPRF.

Oak Park, IL – York High School Girls Swimming and Diving Team prevailed against the Oak Park-River Forest Huskies in their dual meet Thursday, Oct. 6. The varsity team score was York-98, OPRF-88.  

The Dukes' top individual event results are:

  • 200 freestyle: Shannon Sullivan (1st) 1:58.42; Cara LoPiano (3rd); Sam Marlott (5th)
  • 100 IM: Michelle Cernauske (1st) 2:22.37; Bella Reinhofer (3rd); Katie Sullivan (4th)
  • 50 freestyle: Hannah Nolte (1st) 26.15; Paige Jaeger (4th); Perri Brinkmeier (5th) 
  • Diving: Leah Young (3rd), Annie Fazzio (4th)
  • 100 butterfly: Reinhofer (3rd) 1:03.75, Lauralee Johnson (4th), K. Sullivan (5th) 
  • 100 freestyle: S. Sullivan (1st) 54.12, Jessica Woolfe (4th), Brinkmeier (5th)
  • 500 freestyle: LoPiano 5:18.65 (1st), Cernauske (2nd), Kathryn McGirk (5th)
  • 100 backstroke: Jessica Woolfe (1st) 1:03.54, Katie Nelson (4th), Marlott (5th)
  • 100 breaststroke: Kelly Dunbar (2nd) 1:15.86, Nolte (3rd), Carly Redmond (5th)
