Adoptable Pet of the Week: Smiley!
Smiley, a young labrador retriever mix, is looking for his forever home.

This is Smiley, a joyful, exuberant young guy who loves everyone—people and other dogs. He enjoys walks and is good on a leash. He loves play time and car rides, is companionable and affectionate, and loves to cuddle. Smiley is house-trained and well behaved.
He might be a bit over-enthusiastic for toddlers, but he would be great for a family with older children. His love of life will warm your heart.
Smiley's one issue is that he LOVES water and drinks a bit too much of it. He's been tested and has no medical reason for this, so it's just a quirk that his family will need to live with. He's fine overnight, and when he's left alone for awhile. It's only when the household is active that he drinks over-enthusiastically. This can lead to an occasional accident.
Hopefully, he will outgrow this habit in time. For now, he would be best suited to life as an only dog so that water can be easily and safety regulated.
Smiley is an outstanding dog. He's worth it.
