It's Wednesday, and Elmhurst Has the Best Events to Get You Over the Hump

Wednesdays are fantastic in Elmhurst during the summertime.

Take your pick of fresh produce at the Elmhurst Farmers Market. The market is open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at York and Vallette.

After picking up a few items for dinner, head on over to the York Theatre with the kids for Classic Cinemas' Wednesday Morning Movie Series. This week, it's "Escape from Planet Earth." Fun for the whole family, Rated PG and it only costs $1!

Dust off your hot rod for Cool Cars. It's "Come One, Come All Night." All makes and models are welcome.

While you're checking out all the cool cars, enjoy live music. Local musicians will be at the clocktower, just south of the Metra tracks at York, at City Centre Plaza Fountain, at Addison Avenue near Cool Cars and on the 100 block of North York.

It's almost more fun than allowed on a Wednesday.
