The Elmhurst American Legion, THB Post #187, will be hosting a Veteran's Workshop presented by the Illinois Department of Employment Security on Wednesday, May 30 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the Post Home, 310 West Butterfield Road, Elmhurst, in the Normandy Banquet Room.
ADMISSION IS FREE.
The IDES can help veterans get re-connected with the Illinois workforce. There will be recruiters and speakers from various local companies to assist those in attendance.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Elmhurst American Legion is the local branch of the nationwide organization, offering a place for war veterans to gather and meet. The location also offers the Normandy Banquet Room for rent for all types of occasions, including birthdays, luncheons, class reunions, business meetings, weddings, anniversaries and more. The hall can hold up to 220 and offers a bar area as well. The location is open to the public and offers special meals and events, as well as special nights such as Friday Night Fish Fry Night and Wednesday BINGO Night.
