Skate for a Cause to Benefit Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center
735 E Jefferson St, Bensenville, IL | Get Directions »
$25.00
It’s that time of year again. School is out and summer has arrived! As you find yourself with a lot of extra time in the beautiful summer sun, come cool off by helping support a great cause!
The fifth annual Skate for a Cause is just around the corner, and this ice skating benefit will be sure to keep you cool! Skate for a Cause was founded five years ago by Elmhurst residents Morgan and Brielle Maher, but as they have both gone off to college at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, their younger sister Jillian has taken over the recruitment position this year. Along with Jillian, the new recruitment chair members Grace Driggs, Annie Serecki, and Rachel Maneola are all extremely excited to be joining such a worthy cause.
Skate for a Cause is a skate-a-thon fund-raiser that raises money for the Annie Ryan Fun Run's beneficiary: the Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center at Lutheran General in Park Ridge.
The fifth annual Skate for a Cause will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday June 24, at the Edge Ice Arena, 735 Jefferson St., Bensenville. Early registration will be $25, due by June 15; registration after June 15 is $30. Donations are also accepted and appreciated. Make checks payable to "Annie Ryan Fun Run."
