Mmm...Cookies…

ELMHURST, Ill. – You may want to avoid this class if you have a sweet tooth, because you’ll finish all your cookies before you even get a chance to frost them. Cookie Decorating 101 teaches tips and tricks for baking beautiful, gift-quality cookies for family and friends. All supplies (and cookies) will be provided; attendees are asked to bring an apron and sturdy flat box.  Class is for ages 16 and up, and fee is $35 resident/$44 non-resident.  Class takes place on Saturday, February 2 from 10 a.m.-Noon at Wagner Community Center.   For more information or to register, call Wagner Community Center at (630) 993-8901.

Wagner Community Center offers year-round gymnastics and tumbling classes, as well as yoga and fitness classes, preschool, performing arts classes and general interest classes. The center's namesake, Joanne B. Wagner, was an Elmhurst park commissioner for 29 years and guided many improvements throughout the Park District, including the construction of Courts Plus and Sugar Creek Golf Course. The Park District purchased the building and surrounding land in 2003.
