“La Belle France,” an art show by three members of the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild, opens June 26 in the EAG Gallery at the Elmhurst Art Museum, 150 Cottage Hill Ave., Elmhurst. Artists’ reception is June 29 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Gallery. Both the reception and the show are open to the public. The show can be viewed until August 3, 2012, during regular Elmhurst Art Museum hours, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Friday. Admission is $7 for adults but is free all day Friday and to Museum members and children at all times. More About Elmhurst Art Museum
Located on Prospect, next to the library, Elmhurst Art Museum is the community's very own renowned visual arts center. The award-winning, architecturally significant building was built around a Mies van der Rohe-designed house from the 1950s, and today, the museum prides itself on being a cultural hub of Dupage County.
