DESCRIPTION:Immaculate Conception High School will welcome Patricia Cassi
 dy\, president of Loyola Gottlieb Memorial Hospital\, as the first speak
 er for the ICHS Inaugural Alumni Speaker Series. Cassidy\, who is a 1980
  graduate of the high school\, will deliver a presentation on the &ldquo
 \;State of Catholic Healthcare&rdquo\;\, at 7 p.m. in the Marian Room of
  the IC Parish Center.&nbsp\; The will be light refreshments served at t
 he conclusion of the presentation and admission to the event is free.\nA
 s president of Loyola Gottlieb Memorial Hospital\, Cassidy is responsibl
 e for creating a strategic plan for the future of Gottlieb. She also rep
 resents Gottlieb at the Loyola University Health System leadership table
 . She also serves as senior vice president responsible for Loyola strate
 gic planning. Serving in that strategic planning role since 1998 as the 
 senior vice president for system development and strategy\, Cassidy had 
 responsibility for overall strategic planning\, marketing and public rel
 ations\, quality and patient safety\, managed care contracting\, and gov
 ernment and community affairs for Loyola and Loyola University Physician
  Foundation.  Prior to this\, she served Loyola and LUPF in many capacit
 ies\, including vice president for managed care for the health system. P
 rior to Loyola\, Cassidy worked in both the healthcare insurance and mar
 keting industries.\nCassidy is a cum laude graduate of the University of
  Illinois and received her master's degree in business administration fr
 om Loyola University Chicago. She serves on the boards at RML Specialty 
 Hospital and Leaders Bank\, and holds an honorary appointment on the fac
 ulty of Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing and
  is a co-course director at Stritch. She is also an ICHS Distinguished A
 lumni&nbsp\;of 2011
