DESCRIPTION:For the past 10 years\, police officers from throughout the s
 tate have staked out Dunkin&rsquo\; Donuts rooftops to heighten awarenes
 s and raise donations for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Illin
 ois Special Olympics.\nIllinois Special Olympics provides year-round spo
 rts training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for chi
 ldren and adults with intellectual disabilities by giving them continuin
 g opportunities to develop physical fitness\, demonstrate courage\, expe
 rience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts\, skills and friendship
  with their families\, other Special Olympics athletes and the community
 .\nIn return for the police officers doing time at their stores\, Dunkin
 &rsquo\; Donuts will donate to the Torch Run fund. Everyone who visits t
 he Elmhurst &ldquo\;Cop on Top&rdquo\; event between 5 a.m. and noon Fri
 day\, June 01\, and makes a donation to the Torch Run receives a free do
 nut. People who donate $5 will receive a pin\, and those who donate $15 
 will have the choice of a T-shirt or hat while supplies last.\nMembers o
 f the Elmhurst Police Department and the Elmhurst Citizen&rsquo\;s Polic
 e Academy Alumni Association will be accepting donations at two Dunkin&r
 squo\; Donuts locations in Elmhurst: 506 W. North Ave. and 195 E. Butter
 field Road.\nLast year\, the Elmhurst Police Department raised $7\,151.7
 1 for Illinois Special Olympics. Please help us surpass that amount this
  year by making a donation. If you are unable to make it to Dunkin' Donu
