Every Wednesday during the summer, Elmhurst City Centre sponsors Cool Cars Under the Stars Night. The July 25 Cool Cars Night ratchets the cool factor way up with EcoCars – hybrids, electric cars and alternative fuel vehicles that have a smaller impact on the environment.
EcoCars are sponsored by Elmhurst Cool Cities Coalition and are an adjunct to City Centre’s scheduled Pony Night. These “green” vehicles, with greater fuel economy and lower emissions, will be parked in the Municipal Lot on Addison Street from 6-8:30 p.m. Dealers participating include McGrath Lexus, Al Piemonte Nissan, Loeber Motors, Castle Chevrolet, Roesch Ford, Honda on Grand and Elmhurst Toyota.

More About Elmhurst City Centre
The mission of Elmhurst City Centre is to make downtown Elmhurst a destination for consumers. City Centre organizes special events and works to retain and recruit businesses. The organization consists of a full board, budget committee, marketing and promotion committee, and a downtown services committee. City Centre sponsors Thursday dining nights, downtown concerts and Cool Cars Under the Stars.
