Come enjoy an evening of beautiful music as the Bethel Music Society presents Claude Bolling’s Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio.
When Bolling introduced this Suite in 1975 on CD, it became the most successful chamber music recording in history. The Suite has been recognized as one of the most successful marriages of jazz and classical idioms, combining jazz rhythms and harmonies with classical music forms.
The program features Alice Merrill, flute, Jeffrey Panko, piano, Donn DeSanto, bass and Leo Murphy, drums. The concert will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 5:30 pm in the intimate and acoustically pleasing Sanctuary of Bethel United Church of Christ, 315 East St. Charles Road in Elmhurst. Tickets are $10. Parking is free and the church is handicapped-accessible.

More About Bethel United Church of Christ
Founded in 1953, Bethel United Church of Christ hosts roughly 100 families in its congregation. A church outreach program is Bethel Learning Center pre-school, which holds classes from autumn to spring. The church is located next to Sandburg Middle School.
