High school sophomores and juniors are invited to get an up-close look at college life during “Benedictine University at a Glance” from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2 in the Krasa Student Center on the University campus.
Check-in begins at 6 p.m. and refreshments will be served until 6:30 p.m. From 6:30-7:30 p.m., counselors will explain the admissions process and participants will hear from representatives of student life, athletics and the student body. Campus tours will be available from 7:30-8:30 p.m. followed by dessert and door prizes.

More About Benedictine University
Benedictine University is a Roman Catholic liberal arts university on the southwest edge of Lisle. Founded by the monks of St. Procopius Abbey in 1887, Benedictine University is known for outstanding programs in science, business, health, education and the liberal arts. Through its five colleges, Benedictine provides 56 undergraduate majors and eight adult accelerated programs, 15 graduate programs and 36 graduate certificates, and four doctoral programs.

Benedictine University is ranked No. 1 among the country’s fastest-growing campuses between 2000-2010 in the Chronicle of Higher Education’s list of private nonprofit research institutions, and Forbes magazine named Benedictine among "America’s Top Colleges" for the second consecutive year in 2012. Benedictine University’s Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program is listed by Crain’s Chicago Business as the fifth largest in the Chicago area in 2012.
