In a matchup of stellar defensive play by both teams in the championship game, Caylin Rufus broke through and scored the only goal for TESC off a loose ball in the first half that ricocheted off the Eagles keeper from a shot from fellow teammate Emily Aylesworth that was left unattended in the Eagles box. TESC fell short in the championship game, taking second place, losing to the Eagles 2-1.
