Indianapolis, Ind.—The Elmhurst Swim Team had an extraordianary weekend swim competition at the IUPUI Natatorium. More swimmers from EST qualified than ever. More EST swimmers performed at a high level than in the 22 year history of the team.
The 40 qualifying swimmers are:
Winona Asher, Matthew Bajda, Margaret Bennett, Thomas Bennett, Perri Brinkmeier, Alison Brodt, Amy Choi, Nichole DeMare, Martha Eaton, Xander Hall, Molly Hill, Emily Keifer, Connor McCarthy, Meghan McIntyre, Molly Kuenstler, Jessica Levy, Samantha Loudermile, Alexander Marlott, Isaac Marlott, Samantha Marlott, Kelly McNamara, Ciara Mulcahy, Garrett Mulcahy, Hannay Nolte, Paula Nolte, Victoria Palma, Anna Pankau, Claire Pfaff, Owen Rehling, Jessica Sacksteder, Maggie Schlect, Laura Sevilla, Evan Schemroske, Amalia Siavelis, Delaney Tase, Brendan Wager and Bailey Waldherr.
Championship swims were a regular over the weekend. A higher number than ever made the championship rounds.
Next up for the Elmhurst Swim Team is the West Chicago Snowball Classic the first weekend of February. More than 140 swimmers will compete at the event.
“We will have high quality results for sure,” said Head Coach Dave Davis.
