Holiday hoops action is in full swing with York and Immaculate Conception cruising in early games at their respective tournaments.

York, which is hosting the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic, can clinch a berth in the semifinal round - and a likely meeting with Waubonsie Valley - with a win Friday over Palatine to finish pool play.

The Dukes have gone 2-0 with wins over Kenwood Academy and U.I.C. Prep earlier this week. Friday's game against Palatine will be streaming live, as will Saturday's championship game.

Immaculate Conception, which is co-hosting its Christmas tournament with Westmont, has picked up wins over Chicago North Side Prep (60-30) and Chicago Latin (69-50) with eyes on Saturday's championship game.

The Knights take on Evergreen Park Friday night to complete pool play.
