Woman Arrested for Trying to Stab a Man, Hitting Him with a Snow Globe
Elmhurst police also reported two instances of battery last week.
Kainoi Saengdara, 27, 805 N. Geneva, was arrested and charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault after she allegedly attempted to stab a man with a butcher knife then hit him on the head with a snow globe at 8:57 a.m. Dec. 14 at her home, police said. Saengdara was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Brock Tureck, 29, 206 Miner, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with two counts of battery and resisting arrest after an incident at Fitz's Pub, 172 N. Addison, at 1:10 a.m. Dec. 15. Police reports say Tureck smacked a victim in the buttocks on three occasions. When the victim told the bouncer, Tureck allegedly grabbed her by the hair and punched her in the face. He also allegedly resisted police officers when he was taken into custody. He was released on bond.
Matthew Aldridge, 29, 200 E. Cayuga, was arrested and charged with battery at Fitz's Spare Keys, 119 N. York, at 10:35 p.m. Dec. 15. Aldridge claimed he was served alcohol in his ginger ale when he didn't ask for it, police said. He was released on bond and taken to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
