Harassment

A woman who lives on the 300 block of Huntington Lane told police she received four phone calls on her cell phone at 9:33 p.m. June 25 from an unknown man who whispered that he was going to rape her and her children and then kill them. The calls appeared as "restricted."

Fire On Deck

A fire on the attached deck of a home on the 100 block of North Walnut may have been started from a cigarette being thrown into a planter, police said. The fire, which was reported at 3:28 p.m. June 23, was contained to a plastic planter, wood deck and wood siding, and it was extinguished by the Elmhurst Fire Department using a garden hose.

Soliciting Without a Permit

Jordan Lee Thompson, 19, 1360 Newtown Road, Goochland, Va., was cited for soliciting without a permit at Third and Michigan at 1:34 p.m. June 24.

Terrell C. Lamey, 22, 216 Tullahoma Drive, Edmond, Ok., was cited for soliciting without a permit at 140 E. Lake St. at 1:38 p.m. June 24.

Warrant Arrests

Evelia D. Fuentes, 45, 256 N. Rhodes Ave., River Grove, turned herself in at the Elmhurst Police Station at 6:42 p.m. June 22. She was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge. She was released on bond.

Julieta Arriaga, 28, 207 E. Division, Villa Park, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear on a DUI charge after police pulled over her blue Honda Accord for driving on the shoulder at Route 83 and North Avenue at 4:44 p.m. June 25. She also was charged with driving without insurance. She posted bond and was released.

Georgette Dekasha, 42, 535 N. Evergreen, Elmhurst, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant on a DUI charge at her home at 9:48 a.m. June 26. She posted bond and was released.
