Travel Fast-pitch Softball Team Takes Title to Win Bid to ASA/USA Nationals

Elmhurst residents Brooke Bandy and Abby Solem helped their under-14 Bulls/Sox Academy Travel Softball team win a bid to the ASA/USA Nationals in Sioux Falls, S.D., by taking first place at the Battle of the Bases softball tournament in Moline June 8-10.

The Sox won all seven of their games, including the championship game on Sunday.
