Public Affairs and Safety
I have long stated the the left turn on Robert Palmer drive needs a sign with a red light and a green light that is timed properly. If you are driving in your car and your clock is set at 3:01 PM and it is actually 2:59 PM you could receive a ticket although your intent was honorable. To bring clarity to this a signal that is properly timed would eliminate confusion.

Although I am a weak proponent of video cameras and ticketing as I see it as often driven by money concerns, this might be a case where it would be appropriate. The camera, in conjunction with a light indicating go/no go would eliminate this problem and eliminate the need for officers to patrol and issue tickets.
